Got palms? Check the fronds for V-shaped cuts before anything moves. That's the mark of the coconut rhinoceros beetle, and the state wants it reported at 643pest.org.

One pile, one trip: we load it and it's gone. A yard project that fills up over a week is cheaper with a 15 yard roll-off bin in the driveway, and you fill it as you go. Old fence boards or junk mixed into the pile? That's junk removal, and we split the green waste from the rest on the way.
