It's gone
We take it to the landfill, handle the paperwork, and send you the scale receipt with your invoice.
Why Maui calls Hawaii Hauling.
We keep it simple. Call or request a free quote, get an honest price, and we handle the lifting, the loading and the landfill. No call centres, no surprise fees on the invoice.

Upfront, honest pricing
You get the price before we start. If the job turns out bigger when we arrive, we tell you before we load a thing. Dump fees are billed at what the scale says, receipt included.

Roll-off bins and debris hauling for contractors, roofers, builders and property managers across Maui.

- Construction & demolition debris
- Roofing tear-off debris
- Commercial cleanouts

What we know so you don't have to.
Getting rid of stuff on Maui has rules nobody tells you until you're standing at the gate.
- 1pm
- Construction debris is weekdays only, before 1pm. Not Saturdays, not holidays. The island's only other construction landfill has closed for good, so everything goes to Puʻunēnē.
- No pickup
- Maui has no county bulky-item pickup. Nobody from the county is coming for the couch.
- Free
- Fridges and A/C units go free to Hammerhead Metals, and there's no freon fee on Maui. We'll take them there for you.
- Zero
- Clean concrete tips at zero a ton if it's broken down and has no rebar. Worth knowing before you pay to haul it.

Locally owned.
Lahaina born.
Hawaiʻi Hauling is run by Landen Mclaughlin and Rhett Wiseman, both from Lahaina. We started in May 2024 with two trucks and seven bins, and we still run every job ourselves.
How we got startedQuestions people actually ask.
Something not here? Call us, it's faster.
How much does junk removal cost on Maui?
Call or request a free quote and tell us what's going, and a photo helps if you have one. A single item like a fridge or a couch usually runs $300 to $500. A full cleanout where we load everything ourselves usually lands between $1,500 and $2,500. If it turns out bigger than the photo when we arrive, we tell you before we load a thing.
How fast can you get here?
Same day. Call and we'll tell you straight away when we can be there.
What size bin do I need?
A 15 yard handles a garage, a small remodel or a yard project. A 20 yard is the all-rounder for a big cleanout or a kitchen or bath demo. A 30 yard is for major construction and whole-property jobs. See bin sizes.
What can't go in a bin?
Liquids, paint that hasn't dried out, hazardous chemicals, propane tanks, car batteries, whole tires and anything with refrigerant. Fridges and A/C units are easy though: they go free to Hammerhead Metals in Puʻunēnē, with no freon fee on Maui.
Do I need a permit for a dumpster on Maui?
On your own driveway, no. Maui County doesn't publish a dumpster permit at all. If a bin needs to sit on a county road or sidewalk, ask us first.
Where does it all go?
Rubbish and construction debris go to the Central Maui Landfill in Puʻunēnē. Green waste goes to the green waste yard, and metal and appliances go to the recycler.
